I enjoy board games a lot, always have. Trivial Pursuit, Monopoly, Connect Four, Boggle, Triominoes, Trouble, Checkers, and Chinese Checkers are my favorites. I'm also a con for Chutes and Ladders and Jenga.. and probably a few others that aren't coming to me.
Operation hurt 🤣🤣 but I loved the body parts as a kid. I still have all the originals including an original copy of Let's Make a Deal. Hand me downs I never got rid of.
@Magicianzini I enjoyed a lot of those too. But I have never played Trionimons. I do still have my originals too and in fact, a closet full of games. I've never been able to part with them.
I never had the opportunity to play them until I had a family. But Clue is major in our house. We like the video game version, but we do resort to the classic version from time to time.
We rather enjoy playing Life as well, even though they can tend to run pretty long.
And we created something called Sorryopoly that combines Sorry and Monopoly together with some made up rules I can’t even remember right now that had us having four-five hour long games. A ton of fun though.
I love board games and also grew up playing them. My taste in board games has grown to include European board games - my faves are probably Agricola and Settlers of Catan.
@Justmeraeagain I'm glad ypu were able to pass the game along to your son to make more memories with. I'm also glad you have memories of happy times with your husband to carry with you.
I love playing them it is great way to interact with friends and relative when gathering on some occation,so bad people busy swipe and play game on their phone now.
@ScreamingFox I play scrabble, but on line. No one will play with me at home - I win too much. Same reason no one plays Rummy with me anymore either. 😏 Fragile egos. Haha. I have played scattagories a few times, it was fun too.
@LadyBronte I used to think it looked complicated but it's really just a race around the board, but with obstacles in the way, very addictive and good fun.
@zonavar68 I used to play chess, but it's been years. When my kid wanted to play board games, I was always on board and I didn't care if I won or lost. It was the time together, and hearing the laughter. I love all those memories!
@RosaMarie I get together with a group of friends for game night from time to time but it is usually card games or a variation of charades or dominoes.

@Adogslife I don't think I've ever played Backgammon, but I do love a good scrabble game. OK, so that settles it - when we meet up for dinner, we'll have a scrabble game afterward! Hahaa.
