Jigsaw puzzles
My mother bought us all jigsaw puzzles for Christmas. I was sceptical that my teenager would have the patience to sit down for more than 10 minutes, but she's turned it into a competition with her cousin. They each have a fiendishly difficult puzzle to complete - a close up of a Christmas Pudding, a grass meadow with buttercups - and they are determined not to be outdone by the other! 😅
Meanwhile, my 9 yo has finished her puzzle of an old fashioned sweet shop 🍭
My wife and I have the roof of the Sistine Chapel to tackle. But we are not allowed to start it until the Spring, according to our youngest, in case the "people without clothes catch a cold" 🥺
