We couldn't afford much when I was a child but most boys had action men and Star Wars figures and played with them when I was a child. I always wanted an Evil Knievel stunt bike that had a figure of the stuntsman as part of the toy. Do those count?

growing up, I had the Masters of the Universe toys. I never had a doll-doll, but i'd play with my sister's dolls from time to time. Now, I usually just turn them into zombies

I had a GI Joe when I was younger.

Yes. My sisters had a doll whose head would come off the body. I used the head (soft hollow plastic) as a hockey puck when my brother and I were bored and it was too cold to go outside to play hockey. Being soft it didn't hurt the inside of the house.

When I was very young, I would play barbies with my sister who was one year younger. That sister died in a car accident when I was five. I would still pay with those dolls after the accident until my father put them up because he was concerned about me getting made fun of for playing with girls toys. I've never identified as anything other than male. And to this day I see nothing wrong with how I played as a child.
