It's not the videogames, the videogames were just a past time that our parents considered safer than outside?

@pdockal we were always grounded for wondering outside but then they complained that we weren't as adventurous as they were when they were kids 😂

We actually weren't allowed inside

@pdockal guess it depended on where we were living at the time,
When we lived in a house with a huge backyard and lots of trees, yeah we were always outside, and enjoyed it too,

But then we moved to a place where there wasn't much of a backyard outside and instinctively we used to wonder,

Used to get grounded a lot, lol,
Until we gave up and just stuck to videogames,
Especially because the adults were always busy with other stuff, wanted us to be quiet, etc
