What's interesting about the US is it has some of the hardest to rig elections on the planet because you don't run one federal election you run fifty of them all down to weird quirks and foibles of each individual state.
So yeah obviously there's fraud but actually completing that fraud in a way that's significant enough to turn the election is really goddamn hard. It's just way easier to use Gerrymandering and vote suppression to rig elections than it is to like, vote fifty times or have the dead vote or whatever.

@CountScrofula Hmm but you don't have to cheat in all 50 elections, only the couple that you know are going to be close, nobody's going to try to rig Wyoming to go for the Democrat candidate.
...and this comment in no way endorses Gerrymandering, ballot harvesting, or voter suppression.

So do you clean it up?
Or just let the cheat roll?

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I’d also change it so instead of possibly two four year terms, a president can serve one six year term. No waisting time running for re-election.

@Straylight 👊🏻 I’m down Charlie Brown..

@Straylight I am totally with you on term limits and i dont even mind a president running for 2 terms but the problem becomes when you have a person like #45 orangeman in there and HE wants to make the change for this to be a permanent election while HE is in there. thats when as a country its like ok... is that what you want.... fine... you are no longer Pres and are fired.... NEXT.... hahaha

Every bit of politics is made up because that’s the point of it. No one in power would ever want to show you their cards.
CountScrofula · 41-45, M
@Reject It's way worse than that. It's very out in the open, easy to understand, and dumb. They still have power. They don't need to be secret because they still win when we know.

@CountScrofula There’s a balancing act that must be maintained between using their power for self benefit while still appearing to be a human being who cares about the country and it’s people. Otherwise they would come across as tyrants. Anyone who wants to see them as that doesn’t know what a tyrant is, but that’s the extreme end of those who cannot hide their monstrosity. Public relations are considered and that’s where the deception lies.

First issue is the claim of the scale of the fraud (enough to overturn the results if true) without evidence.
The second issue is that with the previous, it was used preemptively as an excuse to de-legitimize the results before the election even took place. So that even in the event of a loss, the president would still have a way to victory in theory as long as enough people on his side played ball (He didn't, resulting in the Jan 6th incident). It was anti-democratic and completely unprecedented in American history.

Yup
Just never have been able to show enough to change the outcomes. But yeah, literally every one since they started having them.

Cheers.
