“ let it go, they don’t know any better! Look at the bright side!! This is such a beautiful day.”.
They are the same individuals who are happy to see any bad thing happen as long as it’s not happening to them. They are no different to the wrong doers.

Well I don't know what constitutes as a 'toxic positivity enabler' but I'm probably one of those people. It comes from a good heart, it's not helpful to wallow in self pity but whatever I share, it's not without understanding personal trauma or pain myself.

@PatientlyWaiting25 [@Mmiker It's when your husband dies and you're told to be happy and given a lecture or endlessly being told how you should make your life better instead of having an arm put around you and saying I'm sorry this happened to you and crying with you, because most of us that's all we want and we don't need too many "it will get better messages"
We're not really looking for solutions at those times of grief we're looking for compassion and empathy.

Every person and situation is different so what people find helpful will be to. Reactive depression is different to depression caused by a chemical imbalance and grieving a person who died suddenly and traumatically will be different then when the persons death had been expected and planned for following a lengthy illness. It's very difficult to really know what will be helpful. Xx

I love the books some people write, without knowing anything about anyone's situation, telling you how to be happy in response to some post or reply
