people who come to the u.s. legally generally oppose illegal immigration, which only makes sense. if you don't like the current immigration laws, then you have every right to work towards changing them. until then, the law should be enforced.

@boudinMan Executing people on the streets (or anywhere else) isn't enforcing any current laws. In fact, it's violating them. Kudos to your style of patriotism though for complying with masked play-actors who may come at you driving unmarked vehicles with military style weapons, trusting they have your best interests and the interests of the USA in mind through their hostile behaviour.
But maybe you think you are exempt too...

That last bit strikes me the most. You'd think pretty much any plan is appealing enough to stop voting for your own deportation, but apparently the bar for that is pretty high.

@NerdyPotato
I've heard a couple theories about it.
One is the boat is full theory that says about a group of survivors make it to the boat and keep others from getting in.
Another is the one that talks about watching someone or something going for others in passivity until they come for them.
And then there's the self hating theory that says they themselves hate who they are and want to make themselves amicable to those who hate them. Who knows. I find it hard to feel sympathy for them

They thought they were going to be "exempt" because of their (one-way) support. They thought only "others" would suffer.
