@swirlie 😂 Swirl old Girl. I have been advising my collegues on retirement planning for a couple of decades and backgrounded a well known financial advisor here on "Boomer" issues. The fund managers fees and commission have long been a bone of contention and I was once threatened by an advisor who had retired on trailing commisions after I spoke out against the practice at a Kiwanis meeting where a lot of the other members were his clients..
However, I was thinking of the brokerage commissions generated from the churning practices of people leapfrogging from fund to fund, just to generate activity, when leaving it alone would be more advantageous to the client..😷
