Is it outdated? Will it ever be? Is my kid going to tell me how lame I am in 12 years when he's 13 and I say lol? Lol. 🤭

I totally find it cringe but I say it alot. It's like a nervous thing I think.

I cringe when someone says 'lol' verbally. When you say that, you're not actually laughing out loud. 👀

@Lilymoon I remember two people saying that. (With this meaning, as lol is a normal Dutch word too)

@Classified I've actually accidentally done that and never felt dumber tbh. When I type it, I say it in my head, so I guess that's why?
