Chicken or the egg.....?

I often hear this question which always leaves me baffled...

Which came first the chicken or the egg.

So i ordered a chicken and an egg from ebay...

@SledgeHammer dinosaurs came from eggs. so god created the rifle on the 3rd day. so i guess eggs came first
