@jshm2 So you just go around shit stirring, huh? Age obviously doesn't define maturity.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@jshm2 it's simple humor, but anyone can enjoy it. And no, I won't watch fast and furious

@SugarNotSpice that's sort of his thing
Blazer420 · 36-40, M
@SugarNotSpice yea lol that guy is a douche bag

DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
It's a huge category though. I lean towards sarcasm though. Plenty of that on here as well.

BTW slapstick is often apart of the absurd category.

@DeWayfarer I watched that show during my formative years. I'm pretty sure it made me the person I am today.
DeWayfarer · 61-69, M
@LordShadowfire oh my! Only watched it because of 99! 🙃
BobbyMoeven · 51-55, M
@DeWayfarer

Throws cream pie in youz face ...

Scoots away and trips over shoelace to fall in puddle of mud ...,
Slapstick and watching someone get hurt doesn’t do a thing for me. I hated Moe, thought he was a bully ! Yet I enjoyed the Marx Bros. Their humor seemed more intelligent, the insults you had to listen for.
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@bijouxbroussard @DrWatson I loved the Three Stooges. My mom couldn't stand Laurel and Hardy. She felt Ollie was a bully, and I was bullied in some of the same ways, so she didn't like him.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@bijouxbroussard yeah, the slapstick was more of a side interest of mine

@DrWatson That is some interesting trivia. Didn't know that
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@bijouxbroussard I'd actually forgotten about the violin connection. This does make them an odd combo, doesn't it?
SugarNotSpice · 18-21, F
That's absurdist humour.
Absurdism is a philosophical theory about existence being absurd.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@SugarNotSpice That's ridiculous
but actually, thanks for making that distinction. I had assumed those words were interchangeable.
SugarNotSpice · 18-21, F
@caPnAhab No worries. :)
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
I know, right? It's just the simplest things that make me laugh the hardest. Like the "rock bottom" post earlier.
caPnAhab · 26-30, M
@LordShadowfire I'd just looked it up now. Lol

And I wanted to thank her for using literally correctly
LordShadowfire · 100+, M
@caPnAhab Yes. People who misuse that word make me want to literally punch them in the face.
