It’s a variation on another riddle : you’re driving a bus . You leave the terminal with twelve people on board.
At the first stop. Two people get off, four people get on. Second stop no one gets off, but five people get on. Third stop, six people get off, three more get on. Fourth stop, eight people get off, and only one gets on.
