@BlueGreenGrey I think sometimes the embarrassment may be due to some men thinking they constantly have to be this super Alpha-macho man and would balk at letting their girl or friend put a crown of flowers on them, while there also exists masculine men who find nothing to be upset about over such playfulness or display of affection.I guess it also depends on the level of familiarity between the two people, let's say in this case, when one indulges in something silly and lighthearted as this, some have the need to control people's behavior, if not, they feel awkward or uncomfortable while others allow another to be themselves and just go with the flow.
Yes, I use the Charlie Chaplin scene as an example of men doing the reverse of the flower crown, painting that mustache on would be funny to me. I'd be okay with it because even if I'm a girly girl, an ultra-feminine kind of woman, I'm also a goofy person ☺ I can't imagine being with someone who's serious all the time. I think if any of us found that one life partner who can accept us for who we are, then it's definitely a blessing.Even between good friends, this is also an important thing.
Oh, the peculiar imagination forum lol...I was looking for one here but couldn't find it so I made one lol. Thank you for thinking so, my dear friend...but I do have a bit of a peculiar imagination which is where most of my posts come from ha ha😄
@LilMissAnonyMOUSE I agree with you completely. Nothing to be upset over. No need to control the other, just let them be themselves and go with the flow, with complete unwavering mutual acceptance always. And there is a time for being serious and a time for frivolity, frolic and other nuances, just finding the optimum balance together (or letting it find you) is key. Having a peculiar imagination is a blessing too, a great source of natural creativity my dear friend 🤗☺
