Our main client was a government agency that loved acronyms. One of their senior managers finally banned them from all Powerpoint presentations. I loved it, but it drove the presenters crazy.

There was so much jargon in our technical meetings that I made buzzword bingo cards to make the meetings more fun. Acronyms were a big part of it!

@JimboSaturn I was in a meeting about the NSFNet and a colleague presented numbers in bps, but I asked and discovered she *meant* Bps...so the bps jumped by a factor of 2^3...
