Would you pay $130 for a fancy pen?

Most of those pens are designed to look good, not write well. I used to collect fountain pens and the best one I had my girlfriend bought for me at Target and I wore it out. Over the last 15 years I have written 4 novels, 4 novellas, and a bunch of stories with a Pilot G-2 Deluxe Model that cost $12, the best pen I've ever had. I once applied to work in a pen store and they had one that cost $2000. The worst one I had came from the Soviet Union and was a dull steel model with a big red star on it and never did work right.

@hunkalove in soviet russia, pen writes you.
@hunkalove @GuyWithOpinions In the 1960's NASA was trying to design a pen that could write upside down so they could use it in zero gravity space. Frustrated, the Director of NASA phoned his counterpart with the Soviet Space Program and relayed their problem. His counterpart said only three simple words, "We use pencil."
