I'm at the age where not finding a parking space for an event

What if there's a spot and you need to parallel park

I just gave up going to events to prevent this exact buuuuullshiiiiit

I brought my daughter to the shopping centre today, I drove around looking for a parking space, suddenly I get a call, can you please pick me up.. (I was still there)...

I've a friend that was supposed to meet us to eat out. 1:05pm and he's still not here.

So we call, it runs to the end and he doesn't pick up. 1:10, we try again (even because the table was reserved for 1:00), and he answer, angry like a hyena, screaming that he's driving back to home because it's not possible that there isn't a single empty parking spot in this city.

Literally the entire road in front of the restaurants had (empty) parking spots but those cost €0.50 and he didn't even consider them 😑

Yep, or completely avoiding events where public transport is unavoidable. If I can't drive there then count me out 😒

Go to a Costco on the weekend and just sit in your parking space with your reverse lights on. I laughed when I pictured this.
