This is a joke folks I know I have to spell this out for some of you here. Advice shared Amongst friends!

My buddy in Georgia is building his home for himself and his wife on their timber farm in North Georgia while I build mine here in Southern Ohio for myself.

Anyway, we are looking at ways of preserving the ends of trees to plant into the ground that we had to cut for pasture fencing. Tonight, he sent me a UTUBE video showing the difference between charring the end of the tree verse scorching verses tarring! Charring was the best method according to UTUBE.

My reply to my Buddy was hell I already knew that after being single for 18 nearly 19 years I have well scorched my log!
Damn it he never replied!

@jackrabbit10 It real life charring is just as good and it does not put chemicals into your ground soil and leaching out chemicals into your ground water, important things to consider when you live off of well water!
@WillaKissing do you get your well water checked often.
