The best satire doesn’t take a side. It insults the pride of both left and right, while simultaneously making both sides laugh at each other.

The right think I’m a Lib, the left think I’m a Nazi.

In a world that’s ever more black and white, grey is this most intriguing place to talk to people.

Clowns to the left of me, jokers to the right. Here I am stuck in the middle with you.

See I feel the best satire comes from its own. Nobody knows how to skewer the left like the left.

A centrist attacking ideas they don't hold personally means the satire is obvious and without teeth. Satirizing the "other side" is usually boring and obvious.
