@PetalsOfLilac Ok.Sorry for the wait.Not long ago,I went to a late night party(and no,I WASN'T drinking;I dont drink)and I was wearing a brand new pair of dress shoes that were killing my feet.When it came time to leave,around 230 A.M,a pulled them off and walked out to my car in my socks;I also drove home like that.On my way,I decided to stop off at an all-night supermarket to pick something up.There was no way I was putting those stupid shoes back on,so I went in my socks(black with yellow stripes,in case you were wondering!)I did feel kind of like an idiot traipsing around without any shoes on,but I figured that there wouldnt be many pepole around;even better,the place was almost deserted.I got my stuff and quickly went through self-checkout line.As I walked out of the store,I went past who I suppose was the "graveyard shift"clerk-a woman who looked to be not much older than me,maybe in her early 20s'.The clerk noticed my feet.She didnt say a word,but she got this huge smirk on her face.I was embarrassed at being "caught" but I decided not to show it.I walked up to her flashed my feet around and said:"I know,my feet hurt ,my feet hurt!"She laughed as I walked out of the exit.Sometimes you just have to deal with the situation you are in!😉
