For all Brits out there - which is quicker, a nip or a pop?

Nip to the shop suggests a quick return... Pop to the shops suggests a certain amount of browsing is going to happen...😁

A nip is definitely quicker, that's like I've literally forgotten 1 item that I need.

A pop is like, ooh I want to bake but I've got nothing to bake with so I'm going for ingredients.

A nip can also follow a pop when you realise you've forgotten that 1 item as you're leaving

I am of opinion, that a nip ith when you have a call of nature and would seek bushes or the backyard of your dwellings. You would pop when you pop! Like I when I milk a pigeon and I heard a pop sound. It wath someone who is trying to use a potato gun to make chips for hith fish and chips for supper and I would suggest him a nice Nerf gun for his wine and bread and my humble knife friend, Miss Augusta, would prepare the most refined gravy and brussel sprouts, for the most refined, intelligent man like I.

Definitely nip. If I pop out to the shops I usually stop to chat to people I meet along the way, then I forget why I came out in the first place 🙄
