This is what Dr. Anthony Fauci told J. Stephen Morrison, senior vice president of the Center for Strategic and International Studies.
“Those who have been vaccinated … and boosted would get exposed. Some, maybe a lot of them, will get infected but will very likely, with some exceptions, do reasonably well in the sense of not having hospitalization and death.”

@checkoutanytime yes, and the best way to try to prevent getting infected is if every one is vaccinated and all are masked. That is, admittedly, a paraphrase. But, the ICUs are filling up with those who are unvaccinated.

@samueltyler2 plenty of vaxed been put in the hospital too. You don’t factor in the fact that all the adverse effects from the vaccine have removed those people from the list of getting Cove or bad cases of covid.

@Shaveit no one argues that about 20% of hospitalized patients had some vaccinations. But my friends working in ICUs say essentially no fully vaccinated patients in the ICU. The numbers of admissions for side effects, not well reported, but, no hospital physician I know says they have treated any.
