Why would a guy go quiet online when youre trying to reach out to him as hes been stalking you?

I would be happy he went silent if he had been stalking me.

He's embarassed at being 'caught out' perhaps. Or maybe he's genuinely interested and feels ashamed or upset. Do you and him know each other in person or only through online contact?

If you feel he's stalking you and don't like it just block the guy. Or you could possibly report his behaviour and let the admins investigate. You don't have to put up with a person's harassment if it's completely unwarranted.
