I can only speak for myself but if someone does the honor to chat with me, then I take the time to answer and not just with lol, rofl or abbreviations but I do make complete sentences because that is my perception of what chatting is all about.

I know I respond to every DM I get even the ones I do not want to get, but I respond to them all. Now they may not like my response depending upon what they said to me, but that negative response is owed to the sexually deviant who are too lazy to read my about me section.

They do especially with these guys who wear heels and swing their Wang around like a Lasso. Or guys named Gregory and skin tight little glitter pants who drive Priuses in the 55 and Blair techno music. There's a lot going on in DMS with those guys LOL

I’m only close enough a couple people to keep a conversation going. That part of me is gone.

I reply then if they ate polite I continue the conversation. If they get nasty then I ignore them.

My wife responds, but she does not initiate conversations.

We reply to the ones we like to ( when we have time) I guess.

By far, the vast majority of DM's I receive are from guys who have no profile, no pfp, have made no posts of their own and have no record of ever leaving comments on other people's posts. Their DM's usually start and stop with one word... "Hi!".... or they'll ask me something specific about my body in their introductory line.

What I've been finding as I prompt these individuals for information, is that they'll usually ask me if I've ever visited India before? In fact I have visited India on business trips, which means I know enough about the place to ask very specific questions, which then reveals that they know more about India than I certain do! What would that tell you about the DM's I've been receiving?!
