It's difficult because I don't go out and socialize with anyone and no longer have the desire to.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Gibbon I wonder if I will feel like that when I get to your age hmm
Gibbon · 70-79, M
@Moneyonmymind It's not really my age. It's losing Vickie and having no family or friends. I was in an alone place when we met but I was also working so had daily socializing. I retired right when the pandemic started so for 3 years it was just her and I. We were fine just being sheltered together and happy. I'm back in the lonely place again alone with 11 years of the best relationship memories that found me.
Lilymoon · F
Yeah mostly because I have high standards and I don't mean that in a snotty way.
AngelUnforgiven · 46-50, F
I dont have friends i have associates, meaning it doesn't get too personal. As I've gotten older. I've become a loner. I feel that other people's problems can quickly become your problems so i chose to live a quiet drama stress free life.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@AngelUnforgiven makes sense to me
Selah ·
Idk if people are just friendly as hell where I live but I meet people almost every time I go out. I feel if I was more invested in being social it would be easy to make friends.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Selah or maybe you’re good looking so it’s easy to approach you from their end.
SW-User
Yes and a lot of it is because I don’t get many opportunities to go out and do things anymore. Work and family responsibilities take priority.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@SW-User that’s fair
greensnacks · 31-35, F
Hm, idk history says no. It's just that I have a hard time making good friends. Befriending people, no issues
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@greensnacks makes sense
exexec · 61-69, C
No, but I usually meet them in church or as neighbors so we already have something in common.
I'm not really looking tho ...
But I've been thinking lately about that
But I've been thinking lately about that
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@pripyatamusementpark if you aren’t looking then the answer is no?
@Moneyonmymind it's no as of now but I'm not good at making lasting friendships at my age
Hinckley ·
Mainly, I'm a loner and can't be bothered trying to make friends.
Moneyonmymind · 31-35, M
@Hinckley same
