I need to make irl friends

Every one I talk to tells me to go to a bar to meet people. But I don't drink and my Dad and my brother were drunks. So I don't want to date anyone at a bar. Then when I I tell them I don't want to, they say I'm stuck up.

Well I'm a very out going person. For one thing.

I can walk up to anyone and start talking to them like I knew them my whole life.

I'm very in person social kind of person for another thing.

Hard to believe from a crossdresser right. Well read my profile, I'm not like everyone else.

For me to make friends all do is start talking to people with respect. Plus I never look down at floor. Always keep eye contact

Just find someone you have common interests with and strike up a conversation. Or joint some small groups with other people you have common interests.

The only friends I've made within the last few years went from online to RL. Meetup groups that interest you might be a way to connect.

You love or hate the same things

Gyms not great for it, courses are great for that, work not so much 🤷

Maybe take Arts and Crafts classes if you're into that. Also exercise or yoga classes.

Gotta be social

I drink but don't enjoy the bar scene. Maybe a neighbor or coworker.

Join a club

If you want a friend, be a friend. It can be tough, because people have marriages and kids. But it is surely possible.

Are there sports you like to play? Even like bowling, indoor soccer, baseball in the summer.

Thats a good place to meet people.
