I always wondered how he came upon that particular username. He’s the antithesis of a hippie.

@bijouxbroussard Before he blocked me, I saw him commenting somewhere that people gave him the hippy label because he had long hair.
bijouxbroussard · F
@ElwoodBlues Ah, I see. Boy did they get that wrong. 😅
He needs to find Jesus

@Diotrephes A small correction: Jesus isn’t looking for slaves - but the foul people who usurp truth for money ARE. Jesus, according to the Bible, ejected the shysters from the Temple. It was humans who warped the truth. And it still is.

Revelation 1:1-3 (HCSB)= "1 The revelation of[a] Jesus Christ that God gave Him to show His slaves what must quickly[b] take place. He sent it and signified it[c] through His angel to His slave John, 2 who testified to God’s word and to the testimony[d] about Jesus Christ, in all he saw.[e] 3 The one who reads this is blessed, and those who hear the words of this prophecy and keep[f] what is written in it are blessed, because the time is near!"
Revelation 2:20 (HCSB) = "But I have this against you: You tolerate the woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and teaches and deceives My slaves to commit sexual immorality and to eat meat sacrificed to idols."

@Diotrephes Lots of translations floating around. Also, in my opinion, a good bit of meddling with the text when the keepers had a problem controlling their actual slaves or women or whatever.
Straylight · 31-35, F
Could you imagine an actual hippie president?
bijouxbroussard · F
@Straylight That would probably be pretty cool, actually.
AlienTheExtraterrestrial · 36-40, F
@bijouxbroussard Depends on the flavor of hippie
bijouxbroussard · F
@AlienTheExtraterrestrial A genuine one, like those I used to know.

And one day, Jesus will stop powering his truck with magic fuel. Times are tough, Jesus can't afford it in this economy.
Matt85 · 36-40, M
he's a christian hippy. nothing wrong with that. to any important degree.
bijouxbroussard · F
@Matt85 He’s neither Christian nor a hippie. 😳
Matt85 · 36-40, M
@bijouxbroussard ah ok lol
@Matt85 remind me, you've defended Kenneth Copeland on occasion, correct?
