@beermeplease I have seen places where they let you handle pet alligators. That isn't for me. I have definitely seen quite a few. There is a State Park here where a lot of them live. You can easily see 10 or 20 on any given day.

@Musicman one of my favorite experiences with american wildlife was in scottsdale az. it was late at night and i was having a beer and a smoke (when i was a smoker) on the patio. these were all condo type resorts. so i heard some rustling on the other side of the barrier. i look over and see what i thought were wild pigs (a family of them) i actually mouthed the words "you gotta be f'n kidding me" just like the guy in the movie "the thing". and then they grunted and snorted at me and took off. the next morning i tell people at the front desk what i saw and they said those were javelinas. and i should have reported them because they can get aggressive. well the front desk wasn't open at the time. i wish i had my phone at the time to take a pic

@beermeplease Seeing wild pigs by the side of the road here is normal. Just yesterday I saw a mother and her three babies grazing beside the road. Traffic didn't bother them at all.

@carpediem Well, I tried for you. I have to cleanse next Thursday. I have a colonoscopy on Friday. ☹

@Musicman Yeah...living in that climate has REALLY messed up your body thermostat. 55F HERE and I might wear a windbreaker, but I won't bother zipping it up.

@4meAndyou I have a really nice fleece jacket. The only reason I would zip it up today is for the wind. The wind just ruins your day. ☹

@SissySecrets Yes we do. My wife likes hers with marshmallows. You like yours with peppermint. I like mine with whipped cream. 😋

@SissySecrets Yes they are. In all honesty the only time I had hot chocolate with peppermint was from Starbucks. It was disgusting! I make a far better hot chocolate. If I made it I would probably like it. Even 7-11 has far better hot chocolate than Starbucks.

@Musicman That’s pretty cold when you are used to warm temperatures almost all of the year. What makes Oklahoma feel colder than places like Colorado is our winds. I know people who moved to Colorado and came back and they say that. The wind blow the cold right through your clothing.

@cherokeepatti I agree. The wind just cuts right through you. We have about a 18 mph wind right now. I definitely don't feel like going out today.
