They say the early bird got the worm

But what about the worm? He was all wakey wakey eggs an bakey...till he got eaten.
It's all fun and games until you get eaten
😳

He was dropped a mile away and didn't even get eaten.

@FloorGenAdm This aforementioned early bird needs beak repair then? 🤔
FloorGenAdm · 51-55, M
@Punxi No he just bit off more than he could chew.
The lazy worm that sleeps in gets to live.

@SooperSarah @Punxi Ya know, that is a metaphorical truth that the optimists do not like to admit.
The worm who gets up early probably had good intentions but as we know, "The road to hell is paved with good intentions."

With the worm who sleeps in -
It is kind of like that phrase, "Hard work pays off over time but laziness pays off now."

But the worm who got to live just because he got up late, WHY do some worms get up late? Very simple, they were up late on some internet forum (which shall remain nameless)

cheap thrills for a worm.
see a bird and get out of the hole to see if the birds can catch you that early 🦅 🐛

@Pfuzylogic Thrill seeking worms 🤔
Pfuzylogic · M
@Punxi
They exist!
CestManan · 46-50, F
@Punxi you would think that the worms would learn eventually not to go out early because they are more likely to get eaten. I mean hell if those stupid geese can learn how to properly cross the street then surely a worm can learn to keep its ass indoors when there are hungry birds flying around

@SW-User One might deduce that growing up in the back woods of Bumfuck, it's quite plausible you were in fact " learned'ed" incorrectly.
