Do you believe that time really does reveal someone’s true intentions with you?

BrandNewMan · 61-69, M
Most of the time, if you are paying attention .. but every once in awhile you get blindsided
PerfectionOfTheHeart · 46-50, F
Yes. Over time they begin to feel so comfortable and safe that the mask they’ve been holding up to work their way into your good graces lowers, and their true intentions come through in their actions. Those actions speak more about their character and your role in their story than fabricated words ever could.
Bleak · 36-40, F
Not necessarily.
SW-User
Oh yeah, people can keep up an act for only so long.
THEN we get to meet the real version of them, and we AIN'T gonna like it.

The good news is, it usually doesn't take long for the real version to surface.

Actions do speak louder than words. Actions take more time than words as well.
SpectralMourning · 46-50, M
Yes. Even an Oscar winner could only keep it up but for so long.
AngelUnforgiven · 51-55, F
Yes both fortunately and unfortunately
backnforth · M
Yeah I feel like time is the most honest mirror
SW-User
Yes I do and it has done on a couple of occasions.
Magenta · F
No, not always. Some are experts at hiding.

Not just.. the future is a reflection of the past and vice versa
ChipmunkErnie · 70-79, M
Probably.
Yes, I’ve seen it unfold when I’ve spent time with people.
LordShadowfire · 51-55, M
It's the only thing that ever does.
swirlie · 31-35, F
Time you say? I give him 5 minutes and if he doesn't put out, I'm outta there.
