How many close friends you got ?

I'd probably name four people as my closest friends. Two of them I've known since childhood, the other two since college. They're the friends I still see and talk to fairly regularly.

Six who are close as family, frequent travel companions. Another 20 or so whom I can depend on or who know they can depend on me when needed.

Fewer and fewer every day. They haven't aged as well as I, unfortunately.
