Observation

Sometimes there’s more objectivity and clear headed thinking from those who observe from more of a distance.

Some people are very nice at heart, it's good if you can make them friends.

Most of the people I've known have been acquaintances. Some I've wanted to be good friends.

I've had good friends that only lasted a meal, more the life that goes along with the career I chose. I seriously don't know how to make "friends". People who want to spend time with me are very few and far between

I think that's one way they become close friends. You're fortunate to have acquaintances like that.
