Think of it like this. If a total stranger came up and stood beside you and said hello, would you think of them as a friend?
If that person then hopped on the bus and left, would you miss them?
Would they wave at you as they left?
Would you wave at them?
People come and go, we all have our lives to live, especially in chats.. We have our 30 minutes to share, and they we are off doing something else.
Pop in for a quick hug, and then see you later maybe. :)

People just hit the Follow button and I don't. I only follow real friends

I don't think we ever really came across each other, but I'm going through a similar thing here. I quit drinking around New Year (except slipping up one evening), and would write all kinds of random crap while being drunk. My sobriety is still pretty new, so I'm just sort of waiting for people to find out that I'm not actually insane. 🤭

In time I think people will forget the old you, and become used to the new you instead (not that you did anything wrong by writing about your personal problems though). ♡

Don’t feel bad. It sounds as though you’ve made great strides toward self improvement, and that’s something to be proud of! As far as this place goes, don’t take it personally. There are a number of people here I like, and a few that are at least friendly toward me, but I wouldn’t go so far as to call anyone a friend.

On the other hand, I’m terrible at making friends and worse at keeping them 🤷‍♂️
