I think it might be pretty common. When i was in the Army, they packed as many as 3 men into a room in the barracks, but women got their own rooms. ..and the equipment we were issued, the men would only get half of a pup tent. The other half was supposed to come from another man who'd be sharing the pup tent with you. ..the women, however, they were issued both halves so they wouldn't have to share with anyone

My point is that if the Army has structured their SOP around keeping women apart, maybe there's a reason. Im sure there is and I'm sure they put a lot of thought into it and have a lot of stats on why.

some of my female friends in real life think that way too....oddly enough most of my friends on here are female. i just seem to click with them better for some reason...i have a few male friends here, don't get me wrong, but i'm closer to the females here

Making friends is genuinely hard now tbh.
My male friends are old friends or people I only do specific things with and I usually gravitate to women for friends. It's a different dynamic I guess.

I've never been in a big friend group. Not for everyone, I would think.
