No, once something is over, I walk away and stay away.

mindstruggle · 31-35, F
Before, I didn’t feel the need to chase. I understood that people come and go, even long time friends and I accepted that, while quietly hoping we might reconnect one day.
But now, being in a toxic environment has changed me. I’ve come to value people even more, and the fear of losing those I truly care about makes me hold on tighter. I end up chasing them... and honestly, if it meant keeping them, I’d kneel if I had to. 😔

@mindstruggle in the last ten or so years, I’ve emotionally matured for the better when it comes to personal relationships

Big reason why everyone here is at least an arms length away
For example….I’ve hidden my photos from everyone, and only share with those who I might trust to a degree

I use to keep my gallery open for everyone to see

I don't think I've ever had anyone formally end a friendship with me. Some people just fade away.
LordShadowfire · 46-50, M
Sometimes. It depends on how close the friendship was. I had one friend end it so definitively there could be no doubt. He blocked me on every social media platform we shared, and when I found one he had forgotten to block me on, he blocked me in direct response to my message. But usually, friendships just fade away.
ToLivePeacefully · 31-35, M
Nobody actively ended things, everyone just drifted apart with time.

I tried to keep in touch but lost interest as they aren't.
BigImo · 26-30, F
I made a group of close friends from ages 0-5 and we've been best friends ever since. The only one we lost is the one that died
thepeculiarpanda · 36-40, M
Nah. I've had a ton of friends come and go in my life and I move on pretty easily. Probably too easily.
Nate931 · 31-35, MNew
I’ve tried. I’ve had mixed results, but there have been a couple times when it worked out.
ScreamingFox · 41-45, F
No. Rejection is loud and clear to me. I give people their space.
Never, I move on. Despite the good memories I need to leave it where it is

No
I count my blessings
Allelse · 36-40, M
Nah. I put them in the basement with the rest of my 'old friends'.

Nope. When I'm done, I'm DONE. I will ignore them so hard, they'll doubt their own existance. 😤😈

I don't make a habit of chasing after anyone, not even new friends who somehow manage to show up in my space whether I want new friends or not!
Heck no..
I don't make such friends
calicuz · 56-60, M
No, If I "cut them loose," then they stay loosed. 😎

That sounds like an exercise in futility
