even when I had a land line - if I didn't recognize the number I let the answering machine pick it up.

now if I don't recognize the number it goes to voicemail on my cell phone - especially if the "SCAM Likely" warning pops up

I don't even answer the phone for people I know 😒

i avoid phones as much as possible. I only have a phone for if my son tries to contact me. Everything else, i avoid and I forget to charge it most of the time anyway

I only answer my phone if I know who it is and it's someone I want to talk to. Which means I almost never answer my phone.

I answer the phone and say, "Shut up, Wesley!" *click*

If I don't recognize the number, I usually do not answer. If it is someone "real" and not spam or a telemarketer, they will leave a message, and I can get back to them.
