We fought and bled together, and some scarified themselves dying for us so we could live. That is a way deeper bon than any non-service person would ever know/experience.

A friend of mine had a company which made T-shirts. My favorite one had the saying “My Friends are My Family and My Family are My Friends”....while I know that doesn’t apply to everyone, it does to me.
