Do your friends become your family?

Yes. Your family is who you decide it to be. You dont have to be genetically related to them.

Yes, my family treats me like a stranger.

Yes, they do. I have no family of my own, so I look for family in friends.

Yes, I consider certain friends to be my family, and the ones I served with in the Army are even closer than my family.

We fought and bled together, and some scarified themselves dying for us so we could live. That is a way deeper bon than any non-service person would ever know/experience.

Sometimes family is not related by blood.
A friend of mine had a company which made T-shirts. My favorite one had the saying “My Friends are My Family and My Family are My Friends”....while I know that doesn’t apply to everyone, it does to me.

Not for me with one obvious exception (my wife) but I have some friends that are incredibly special to me.

Of course I do. I am more closer to my friends than I am to my blood relatives.

I have a few members of my family I can trust as well as here, so I say yes.
