It is what it is.
I think we miss the connection of a good and close friend but if we don't have that ...
There is no stigma to it.

@SW-User mmm yeh😏… and besides I think eventually anyone will start to drive you crazy, even if they are a “close friend”, soo whatever. Lol.

@MissNoahLenFoxx I think that's why I no longer have those.
We mutually drove each other crazy. 😂

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with it. In fact I believe that’s how it is in adulthood for most people…. You’re lucky if you can keep old friends from high-school or college still around in your life. Other than that mostly all new experiences in adult life will gain you acquaintance after acquaintance. Enjoy it for what it is. I suppose over a long length of time you could gain closer friends out of the acquaintances you meet, but it takes time.

@MissNoahLenFoxx if you're u have a family, your friends tend to be parents of your children's friends.

I go through phases where I feel I must be living life wrong because every well-being anything ever written tells me a good life requires socialization. But I’m generally at peace. 🤷♀️ I think we can just let ourselves be content. 👍

If it suits you, let it. There are no real rules around that anyway.

@SW-User i managed to get a bf years ago when I had no associates or friends to speak of at all. At least now I can make myself look a bit more "normal"

Nope
Close friends aren’t necessarily good friends as one sometimes finds out
