Vegans and/or vegetarians usually lose a lot of weight, but it is sometimes difficult to find ready made foods that are vegan or vegetarian, and you might have to cook from scratch a lot more. You will definitely be limited if you have to eat in a restaurant.
Also, vegans and vegetarians have a hard time adding proteins in to their diets in sufficient amounts to maintain their health.

@acpguy True. I think it's largely because they don't want to spend 12 hours a week in the kitchen prepping the healthy stuff. It would be a LOT of work. My brother became a vegetarian for about a year and a half before he decided he NEEDED a hamburger...🤣🤣🤣
I had some vegetarian adventures with him...such as stuffed pumpkin instead of turkey for Thanksgiving.
After he ditched the vegetarian fad, he went on the Mediterranean diet...which includes lots of fish and lean meats like lamb and chicken.

@4meAndyou I do most of the cooking for my wife and I and try to balance meat protein on some days, fish and then we have Southern Indian food or Mediterranean probably once or twice a week, I really think good spices are good for a person and I learned how to cook Indian from one of my wife's Indian students that was a really cook.
