I think i speak for a lot of starbucks barristas when i say...

STOP ORDERING STUPID TIKTOK DRINKS!!!

9 times out of 10 it needs some stupid ingredient that we either only have seasonally or never had in the country ever. the whole queue gets held up coz we have to watch this stupid video to find out what you want nevermind if its possible. Look at the menu, pick from the menu, maybe add something a lil extra and we will love having you.

As a catering consultant, former cocktail bartender and very occasional barrista, I couldn't agree more. If a customer doesn't want what's on the menu they should be obliged to pay a massive premium price.

Starbucks has made themselves their own demise by making themselves overly commercialized and mainstream
I remember the day, about 15 years ago, their objective to perfect the craft of true craft coffees. Period
Over the years, they’ve continued to expand their menu to offer fruity sweet drinks, cake pop candy like foods, and have at the same time pretty much abandoned bringing in excellent flavored coffees.
They’ve converted themselves to be about volume and less quality

I make it easy…same order every time. Venti mocha, hot, triple shot, two pumps raspberry, add whip.

Only funny looks I ever get with that is ordering it on a day where it’s already 90 degrees at 9am 😂

For the exorbitant prices that Starbucks charges, they should be able to get it custom made any way they want.
