You ever cook a meal, but know you could never make it the same way twice?

The spices on the roast veges were awesome tonight but I just know I'll never get it that way again... Ground Black Peppercorns, Ground sea salt, cumin, Garlic powder, onion powder. How much did I put in 🤷🏻

Yes. Several years ago I had some relatives coming and did a couple of dishes. One of them was chicken and mushroom done in a slow cooker with olives and crème fraîche(*) added towards the end of cooking. I made it up a I went along, didn't keep a record of exactly what I used or the quantities and so it was something improvised that I never quite replicated again. It went down a treat on the day though! 😊

(*) literally 'fresh cream', but it is slightly soured by the addition of a bacterial culture.
