Why do you need...
a) a "local militia" (whatever that may be or imagine itself doing), and
b) napalm

@ArishMell I think he just enjoys throwing out silly questions for the fun of it. This one seems to be playing on the obsession that some people in the US have, or claim to have, regarding 'freedom' from central government. At least that's what a quick glance at some of his other posts suggests.

@ninalanyon Ah, I see! Strange senses of humour, some people have!

@ArishMell It's perfectly legal to make napalm, you can even own a flamethrower in the US, completely unrestricted/unregulated, can even buy them online...

@wildbill83 A company owned by Elon Musk is making and selling flame throwers here in the US. They aren't terribly expensive either.

@ninalanyon I find it interesting to learn who responds to what and how or why. people will tell you a lot about themselves if you give them the chance.

@ArishMell actually, consistency of napalm is more akin to jelly (it's essentially gelled diesel fuel), and typically, in the circumstances in which it's used (pillboxes, bunkers, etc.), it kills more by asphyxiation than burning.

@wildbill83 Still an evil weapon - but as I heard a general once say on the radio (probably in an analytical piece) war is cold-blooded murder.
