Is eel good? Like, if one were to skewer an eel on a stick and roast it up, would it make a tasty meal?

I made sushi with them once. Somewhat messy since it was my first time but damn good

probably but I'm unaware of if the slime has a taste since I've only had it in sushi where that was taken care of first. You may not like the outer texture so a fire would probably crisp that up for you. It's going to have that freshwater subtleness of other fish without any sort of seasoning so if you can enjoy that you'll like it.

I enjoy eel in Japanese restaurants.

I don't know about skewering them.

I had eel sushi...in an eel and BBQ sauce maki roll, and it tasted rotten.

I love unagi nigiri sushi

I think I'd rather eat the stick.
