I have rewatched this hundreds of times (a little tipsy, yes) but I just love the music and their gestures and I just can’t believe

The was waaaaay before I was born…that these two people I keep rewinding to watch their gestures while singing died when I was 6 and 8 years old! Can you believe being gone that long ago and still have people watching you with such passion!

When my father was dating my mother, he took her to see Frank Sinatra perform in NYC.

And now you are appreciating him. Think about what a span of time that represents!

@DrWatson I would fall in love instantly with a guy taking me to watch Sinatra perform in New York.

I understand I am asking for the impossible, but maybe this means love is not meant for me I guess 🥔🤷🏽‍♀

@BittersweetPotato Guess what? My mother told me she was not terribly impressed with Sinatra that night!

My father, on the other hand, was a devotee for his entire life

I feel that we are so blessed to have witnessed such greatness. There are so many people who just makes the world more beautiful and they did it one note at a time. People all over the world smiled, danced, and sang to their beautiful music its just so much larger than us!

Both were Big Band singers, too. Frank with Tommy Dorsey and Ella with Chick Webb.
