Yes. Tomatoes are fruit. So are bell peppers and other peppers.

Fruits come from the flowering part of a plant and contain seeds whereas vegetables come from elsewhere (usually roots, leaves or stems) and do not contain seeds.

I'm kind of a "no" on this one most of the time. Diced Tomatoes can be good though alongside pepperoni
