Have you ever just allowed yourself to wake up without checking the clock?

This morning I woke up by what I'd call a natural progression.
I went to the bathroom and set about my morning.
Took the lamb out the fridge that I had been defrosting and washed up and began seasoning.
I realised I was out of lamb stock cubes so I quickly washed and dressed and headed to the shops with it taking my domino's pizza box from Friday/Saturday.
Much to my surprise there was hardly anyone on the road.
It was only when I returned to mine that I finally checked the time on my thermostat it said 10am now that's wrong as it doesn't seem to maintain its time.

It had to be after 9 still as its only 10.23am now.

But I feel better for it.

I can't wait to have my roast lamb dinner with baby potatoes and farmhouse veg.

😊

I'm feeling much better today BTW.

I think the week was just incredibly overwhelming.

The last time I got up without checking the time, I got dressed, ate breakfast and got in my car and then realised it was 4am.

My eyes have gotten worse, so all I can see is the clock, and I sort of guess what the numbers are. I'm usually wrong...🤣. The sun coming in through the curtains is a better indication.

I am glad you are feeling better. 🤗🤗🤗

@4meAndyou it's difficult when I'm in that state of mind

@Mellowgirl 🤗🤗🤗 Sometimes, when you are young, it's hormones, and you don't have the luxury of shutting it off. Sometimes it's loneliness, and sometimes it's toxic people messing you about. I used to have to crawl into a hot, hot bath and soak for at at least an hour to try to calm myself. I was in a bad marriage.

@4meAndyou I understand that.
It's a combination of hormones and circumstances. There's not very much I can say or do anymore
Never, I always check the clock as I work in night shift.
I only look at the clock after I've woken up, but it's just there.
I get up about 5:30 everyday without an alarm 🤨

@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout natural body clock, I guess when we do something enough our bodies wake up following a routine.
