I am having a select timber cut done behind the new home I am building for myself to clear the way for an apple orchard planting this March 2023. Making money to finish my new home build as well and providing a $3000 college cash assistance to my daughter from a portion of the timber harvest proceeds (gave that to her last Sunday).

Took an early morning hike and will enjoy the rest of my day off just relaxing. ✌️

Good morning!!! Well later on I'm going in the garage and pulling out my Christmas stuff. I'm kinda excited because I scored some cool pieces yesterday and I can't wait to put everything together.

My shop is a little jammed up with stuff that's supposed to go out tomorrow. Today I have just a handful of stuff I can paint and once that's done I may go visit a friend if he is at home. I haven't seen him in a few months and last time we talked he was waiting on a kidney transplant and not doing very well.

I have tools scattered out under and around a truck I got running late last night. At some point I've got to crawl under there, put the final touches on that, and round up my tools.
If I don't run out of time I may go to see my parents but I'm thinking that will probably happen tomorrow on the way back from a job.

Just puttering around the house mostly. I went shopping yesterday at two discount stores and that took most of my day. We have a forecast of storms moving in tomorrow, high winds 65-75 mph, chance of hail & tornadoes so I need to do what I can today.

A meeting at the hospital this morning for a briefing on next week's surgery. Lab work. A trip to Sam's Club this afternoon. Exciting day!

Out doing stuff every chance I get to enjoy the lingering great fall weather .. 'cause the evil ❄️☃️ will be here before long.

😊😊😊 Grocery delivery arriving in about half an hour...I'll need to put those away, and then remove the smoked pork shoulder from the crock pot, cut out the bone, and then put the soaked beans INTO the crock pot with the pork bone and onions. Should be really good!
