Would you mix Indian food with Chinese?

I asked because I was texting my friend Rebecca in England and she said they were eating a mixed take-out!

@jeancolby Good idea!

When I am hungry for Indian food that’s what I want, and I have Chinese food when I am craving that. I don’t like mixing cuisines. Might as well go to a large buffet. Authentic Indian food is great.

The Indians do!
Sure...I think Szechuan cuisine would fuse nicely with Indian cuisine.
No they are both good, but not together.
GunFinger · F
I don't eat Indian food.
Degbeme · 70-79, M
Oh no, never.
WillaKissing · 56-60, M
Never, but if I was back in the Army and ate MRE's for a while and needed to Un constipate myself then yes, only then would I.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
In general, no.

But I could see eggrolls and samosas together as a snack or appetizer.
@DrWatson Some people think Indian bread makes a good appetizer. But I think that's a naan starter 😆😂😄
@ElwoodBlues laughing hard. Pun my word.
DrWatson · 70-79, M
@ElwoodBlues It is way too early in the morning for me to deal with a joke like this! 😄

Garlic Naan as a roll up, stuffed with beef with bean sauce. 😉
Adogslife · 61-69, M

If the flavors didn't clash .... probably not
butterfly1013 · 26-30, F
Never really had Indian food, but I imagine they wouldn't mesh well together.
mindless · M

or confusion
TexChik · F

Yeah. I'm a great believer in world cuisine.
Flavours and textures are meant to be enjoyed and played against each other .

We do it on a minor scale in cultural cuisine, in our provincial cooking and on our dinner tables .

But when you fusion on a cultural scale it's amazing. It's kinda a fiesta for the taste buds 😋
PatKirby · M
Would you consider curry on a fluffy bed of Mongolian rice Chindian food?
SW-User
Hmmm, why not, Asian fusion, though I wouldn't be just throwing 2 meals together, I'd be creating, it would be delicious 😋

NEVER
