People who live in America and don't tip because they feel the people who work for tips should find a better job

Or because they feel the company should pay them more instead of having people tip since that's how they do it in other countries. First of all, I don't think they realize in those other countries that they charge for water, and the food is more expensive than it is here in the states. If they started doing that here, but got rid of tipping and paid their workers better. The people who complain about tipping would complain about their bill going up.

The people who don't tip are the same people who always want help from their friends. Always need a ride, money, or help moving or picking something up. But anytime their friend's need help, they'll never help them since they're selfish and don't want to help anyone but themselves. I bet sometimes they'll even agree to help, until the time comes and than they'll say "I'm sorry, I don't feel like helping anymore. Find someone else"

Okay, so the tip is essentially why they get paid so less for the hourly wage. If those who worked in positions where tips are allowed had an hourly wage then they'd get paid more than management...some probably do anyway.

I've worked where the hourly was decent and was told not to accept tips for any reason. Customers still stuffed bills in my pocket.

It's about tracking the dollar one makes. Even filing taxes you're supposed to report your tips, the documented and undocumented. We pay for water and sewage thus why they dig up the ground and place those giant pipes in it. That isn't free and has nothing to do with it.

Those who don't tip are either ignorant of how much the person's hourly wage is or they just don’t have it. At the end of the day, the tip is not a guarantee so the possibility of what one can make in an hour varies. It's really about preventing one from earning too much.

If everyone knew they could make a decent living without a college degree how do you think that would affect the educational process?
