A nice, hot bag of chips to eat strolling home. Salt and pepper, lashings of it. Takes me back to being a kid when my mum knew that chewing on a few chips would stop me from crying, throwing a tantrum, or doing my favourite, standing still and not moving, arms folded in determination. A bag of chips was much better than having to pick me up and having me screaming like the little brat I was.
@poetryandwine if you increase the resistant starch in them by cooking and cooling them and eating them cold it creates something called butyrate that has dozens of health benefits including balancing neurotransmitters in the brain which helps with moods.
